A Distinctive Look, Sporty Ride, and Spacious Interior
New for 2024
Model Details
Engine & Performance
The front-wheel-drive version with the turbo-four provides sufficient power for urban and highway driving. On the other hand, the V-6 engine delivers impressive acceleration and instills confidence for passing maneuvers on the highway. In our testing, the Blazer RS achieved a 0-60 mph time of 6.6 seconds, showcasing its ability for quick overtaking and merging onto busy highways.
The four-cylinder Blazer can tow up to 1,500 pounds, while the V-6 version can handle up to 4,500 pounds, making it versatile for towing needs. With steady composure and precise steering, the Blazer stands out as one of the best-handling crossovers in Chevrolet's lineup. It offers confidence and responsiveness on winding roads, especially in the RS model, which features distinct steering and suspension tuning.
Interior & Comfort
While the higher-end models receive leather surfaces and more extravagant materials, the mid-level trims exhibit a greater presence of less expensive trim pieces and a predominantly grayscale color palette. Nevertheless, the Blazer does provide appealing features, including ambient interior lighting, heated and ventilated front seats, and heated rear seats.
When it comes to cargo space, the Blazer offers versatility with 31 cubic feet of storage behind the rear seats, expanding to 64.2 cubic feet with the seats folded. The second row of seating offers 60/40 split-folding flat. Furthermore, there are various storage solutions for smaller items, including ledges on the front door panels that are ideal for holding smartphones. Additionally, a decent-sized cubby is situated at the front of the center console, while the center console bin offers good space, albeit without built-in organization. The rear seat, however, provides less storage, featuring a bin at the back of the center console and small door pockets.
Technology
Standard features include a pair of USB ports positioned at the front and rear of the center console, with some models offering a 120-volt outlet for added convenience and remote start. Other popular features like wireless charging, and adaptive cruise control are available. Furthermore, the Blazer can be fitted with a Wi-Fi hotspot, an eight-speaker Bose audio system, Voice Service, and integrated navigation, enhancing its connectivity and entertainment capabilities.
