Confirmed Service Customer
I paid for a maintenance plan when I bought my vehicle and want to get it serviced regularly. However, the autonation closest to me is no longer accepting vehicles to service. That means I have to drive hours away to the next closest one to get my vehicle serviced which is absurd. I was on vacation this past week and noticed that there was an autonation only 1.5 hours away, so I drove out of my way to get my vehicle serviced. Once I arrived to the autonation that I purchased my vehicle from, they turned me away simply because I didn’t have an appointment. They did not care that I only had that day to get my vehicle done and tried to schedule me for the next day. I told them I was on my home now and could not wait until tomorrow. They still said there was nothing they could do, and sent me to another autonation down the road. The other one also tried to turn me away because I did not have an appointment, and I was so upset. I began to cry because my vehicle really needed to be serviced and I was scared to drive home with it. Thankfully, they took pity on me and told me to wait until they had time. I had no choice but to wait, and stayed there for probably 4-5 hours. I am glad they finally took my car in, but this is the worst service experience I have ever been through in my life. I have a prepaid maintenance plan and should be able to keep up with it and not have to drive hours away to another city. This has been a terrible experience purchasing from autonation and I will not ever be doing it again.
